She’s a little bit country. A little bit rock & roll. And all about good food, good friends and good times. She began her side career by turning Jiffy mixes into mini-cakes in her Easy-Bake Oven, then moved on to learning more extensive techniques during several years of 4-H and experimenting with what was in the pantry cupboard.

Growing up on a farm, she learned to appreciate limited but fresh ingredients and spent hours beside her mom Mary learning to can, bake, and cook (look for the “100 Ways To Cook Potatoes” section coming soon!). Kristy now spends her spare time trying new recipes and visiting restaurants finding dishes to share so that everyone “can make that!” Thanks to her family who are loyal – and honest – taste testers.
